Production Glassfibre is pleased to announce that it has acquired the entire share capital of W.L. Cunliffe and will take operational control of the company from the above date. After 40 years of building the business and guarding its reputation as the most respected moulder in the country, Mr. Alan Cunliffe has decided to retire from the industry. The factory at Skelmersdale employs 100+ people and will continue to operate alongside the existing Production Glassfibre facilities in Bedford, Altham and Kirkcaldy. Group manufacturing floor space will now be close to 16,000sqm, the headcount in excess of 300 and annual resin consumption around 1000 tonnes-all confirming the company’s position as the UK’s largest general moulder of glassfibre parts and products.
